| The Eglin Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association, a government/industry non-profit organization, established a scholarship endowment with Okaloosa-Walton College in November 2004. The purpose of the Endowment is to provide scholarship support for individuals from the greater Eglin community to attend OWC pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Project and Acquisition Management or other degree other degree that supports the Eglin AFB Air Armament Enterprise. On May 10, Mrs. Judy Stokley, Air Armament Center Deputy for Acquisition, and Eglin NDIA Chapter President, presented Dr. James R. Richburg, OWC President, a check adding funds to the existing endowment. This check plus the matching state funds will give two fully endowed scholarships. |
