2020–2021 ACCELerator Grants Program

The NDIA Gulf Coast Chapter (NDIA GCC) is pleased to announce the continuation of the ACCELerator Grants Program. The focus of this program is to foster enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering and math in our local school children. The program seeks to accomplish this by offering grants up to $1000 to local schoolteachers and tax-exempt/non-profit organizations who successfully propose projects or programs which demonstrate creativity and innovation in teaching and encouraging an interest in science, technology, engineering and math.

ACCEL grant applications will be accepted by email until close of business (4:30 p.m. CDT) on Friday, 2 October 2020. A NDIA Gulf Coast Chapter committee will meet to select the most deserving projects and the recipients will be notified mid October. The awardees will be notified and invited to participate in an ACCEL Recognition Social at the Air Armament Museum during the annual NDIA Symposium on Wednesday evening, 28 October 2020, with planned financial disbursement at the Air Armament Museum Social to awardee teachers in attendance or to the awardee’s schools in mid-November 2020 if not in attendance that night. The number of grants will be dependent on funding. NDIA GCC reserves the right to cancel this program at any time. Grants made prior to cancellation will not be affected by cancellation.

Application Period ends Friday, 2 October 2020.
