2025-2026 ACCELerator Grants Program

The NDIA Gulf Coast Chapter (NDIA GCC) is pleased to announce the continuation of the ACCELerator Grants Program. The focus of this program is to foster enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering, and math in our local school children. The program seeks to accomplish this by awarding grants up to $1500 each to local schoolteachers and tax- exempt/non-profit organizations who successfully propose projects or programs which demonstrate creativity and innovation in teaching and encouraging an interest in science, technology, engineering, and math. Last year we awarded $75,000 total to 50 teachers in the Okaloosa, Walton, and Santa Rosa County School Districts.

ACCEL grant applications will be accepted by email until close-of-business (4:30 p.m. CDT) on Monday, November 10, 2025. A NDIA Gulf Coast Chapter committee will then convene to evaluate and select the most deserving projects, and the recipients will be notified during the last week of October. Our primary plan this year is to return to recognizing grant recipients in person during an evening reception at the Air Armament Museum, November 19, 2024, beginning approximately at 5:00PM. Please submit this application via email to Ben Osborne (email in application form) and the selected projects will be posted on the NDIA Gulf Coast Chapter website. Note: NDIA GCC reserves the right to cancel this program at any time.
